Gweledigaeth Maes Dysgu a Phrofiad: 
 

Bydd y disgyblion yn magu dealltwriaeth cadarn o'u cynefin, eu hardal ac eu gwlad gan hefyd deall o fewn cyd-destun cenedlaethol a rhyngwaldol ehangach, gan gofio bod ganddynt gyfraniad i wneud. 

 

Bydd disgyblion Rhydywaun yn ein gadael yn barod i fod yn aelodau hyderus, mentrus ac uchelgeisiol o gymdeithas sydd yn gadarn yn eu gwerthoedd moesol. 

 

Bydd ein disgyblion yn wybodus am ddiwylliant eu hunain ac eraill yng Nghymru a'r byd ehangach. Fel canlyniad eu bod yn gallu dangos empathi, a deall bod bywydau rhai yn anoddach na’u rhai nhw. 

 

Bydd disgyblion Rhydywaun yn chwilfrydig am eu hanes, credodau, diwylliant ac amgylchedd ac eu bod yn deall perthnasedd y maes a’i gyd- adrannau i’w bywyd pob dydd. 

 

Rydym yn awyddus i’n disgyblion fod yn hyderus wrth ymchwilio er mwyn gwella eu dealltwriaeth o’r hyn sy’n digwydd yn y byd. Fel canlyniad maent yn hyderus wrth ddadlau, ac yn gallu gwahaniaethu rhwng ffaith a barn. 

 

Byddwn yn datblygu disgyblion aeddfed sy’n gallu gwrando ac ystyried barn eraill, yna dod i gasgliadau eu hunain.

Area of Learning and Experience Vision:

 

The pupils will gain a solid understanding of their habitat, their area and their country and also understand within a wider national and inter-regional context, remembering that we all have a contribution to make.

 

Rhydywaun pupils will be confident, enterprising and ambitious members of society, firm in their moral values.

 

Our pupils will be knowledgeable about their own culture and that of others in Wales and the wider world. They will show empathy, and understand the wide ranging challenges that some may face.

 

Rhydywaun pupils will be curious about their history, beliefs, culture and environment and that they understand the relevance of the field and its inter-departments to their everyday life.

 

We want our pupils to be confident when researching in order to improve their understanding of what is happening in the world. As a result, we aim for our students to be confident when debating, and can distinguish between fact and opinion.

 

We aim to develop mature pupils who can listen and consider the opinions of others, and are able to come to their own conclusions when considering wide ranging issues.
