Yn Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun rydym yn ymrwymo i'r egwyddor y dylai pob disgybl wisgo gwisg ysgol ffurfiol o dan ein Côd Ymddygiad Cymunedol, fel bod ein disgyblion yn ‘Cymryd balchder yn eu gwisg gan ddilyn rheolau Cymuned Rhydywaun’.

Mae Polisi Gwisg Ysgol ac Ymddangosiad Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun, wedi’i greu gyda chefnogaeth lawn Bwrdd y Llywodraethwyr ac mae’n seiliedig ar bolisi Llywodraeth Cymru - Polisïau gwisg ysgol ac edrychiad disgyblion: canllawiau ar gyfer cyrff llywodraethu - Ionawr 2022.

Gwisg Ysgol Blwyddyn 7 - 11

Crys neu flows ysgol wen, plaen, llewys byr neu lewys hir gyda botwm lan at y gwddf. Dim bathodynnau
e.e. bathodyn clwb rygbi ar y crys.
Tei swyddogol yr ysgol.
Siwmper goch swyddogol yr ysgol â bathodyn yr ysgol arni. Ni chaniateir hoodies, cotiau/
siwmperi chwaraeon, cardigans na siwmperi eraill.
Sgert ddu blaen ddim byrrach na thop y penglin neu drowsus du plaen. Ni chaniateir ‘jeans’,
culottes, cords, dungarees, leggings, trowsus capri, sgertiau hir na ffrogiau.
Teits du, neu sanau du plaen.
Addurniadau gwallt lliw naturiol/tywyll yn unig.
Lliw gwallt naturiol yn unig. Ni chaniateir lliw gwallt annaturiol, patrymau neu linellau wedi’u
heillio yn y gwallt.
Esgidiau du plaen. Ni chanietir sodlau, boots, trainers, sandalau na flip-flops.
Cot aeaf neu got law du, glas neu llwyd tywyll. Ni chanietir siacedi denim.
Dim tlysau o unrhryw fath.

Gwisg Blwyddyn 12 a 13

Crys neu flows ysgol wen, plaen, llewys byr neu lewys hir gyda botwm lan at y gwddf. Dim bathodynnau
e.e. bathodyn clwb rygbi ar y crys.

Tei swyddogol y Chweched (du a melyn).
Blaser ddu swyddogol yr ysgol â bathodyn yr ysgol arni.
Trowsus du plaen sy’n cyrraedd yr esgid (Dim ‘jeans’, na throwsus tynn na jeggings/leggings) neu sgert ddu blaen
- dim byrrach na thop y benglin.
Teits du neu sanau du plaen gyda sgert. Sanau du gyda throwsus.
Addurniadau gwallt e.e clip, band du.
Esgidiau du plaen. Dim esgidiau ymarfer corff. Sodlau dim uwch na 4cm (caniateir bŵts wedi eu gwisgo o dan
drowsus yn ystod tywydd eira yn unig.) Ni chaniateir bŵts gyda sgert ysgol
Cot aeaf neu got law du, llwyd tywyll neu las tywyll – streipen llachar yn dderbyniol.
Ni chaniateir ‘hoodies’ na chotiau chwaraeon
Sgarff ddu, hetiau gaeaf du neu las tywyll.

Gwisg Ysgol | School Uniform

At Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun we are committed to the principle that all students should wear formal school uniform, as stated under our Community Code of Conduct; for pupils to ‘Take pride in their appearance following the rules of Rhydywaun's Community’.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun’s Uniform and Appearance Policy has been created with the full backing of the Board of Governors and is based upon the Welsh Government's School uniform and appearance: policy guidance for governing bodies - January 2022

School Uniform - Years 7-11

Plain white shirt or blouse, long or short sleeve with buttons up to the neck. No badges such as rugby club badges on shirts.
Official school tie.
Official red school jumper with school badge. No hoodies, sports tops, cardigans or other jumpers.
Plain black skirt no shorter than the top of the knee or plain black trousers. No jeans, culottes, cords, dungarees, leggings, capri trousers, maxi skirts or dresses.
Black tights or black socks.
Natural or dark hair clips and bands.
Natural hair colour only. No unnatural hair patterns or lines shaved in hair.
Plain black shoes. No heels, boots, trainers, sandals or flip flops.
Black, dark blue or dark grey winter coat or rain coat - bright stripe for visibility acceptable. No denim jackets.
No jewellery of any kind.

Year 12 and 13 Uniform Policy

A short sleeved or long sleeved white shirt or blouse with a button up to the neck. No badges such as rugby club badges on shirts.
Sixth Form official tie (black and yellow).
The school 's official black blazer with the school badge on it.
Plain black trousers reaching the shoe (No jeans, no tight trousers or jeggings / leggings) or plain black skirt - no shorter than the top of the knee.
Black tights or plain black socks with skirt. Black socks with trousers.
Hair clips or simple decorations are allowed, e.g. black band.
Plain black shoes. No exercise shoes. Heels no more than 4cm high (boots worn under trousers are allowed only during snow.) Boots are not allowed with a school skirt.
Winter coat or black, dark grey or dark blue coat - bright stripe for visibility acceptable.
Hoodies and sports coats are not allowed
Black scarf, black or dark blue hats.
One pair of studs are allowed in the ear only.
